18 hours in the car

Wow - we did it.

We left at 4:45am and arrived at 10:45pm.

That is 18 hours in the car folks.

18 hours with just me, J & our sweet baby who is on the cusp of turning 1!

Holding true to the meaning of his name :)

And you know what -

WE HAD A BLAST!!

We both read (Brown Bear Brown Bear), and a YA title for me!

We took naps

We had snacks

We stopped 3 times for meal breaks, and 1 time to stretch our legs and soak up the sun and the gorgeous driving day that we were blessed with.

We found a bench and kicked back and let the wind whip through our curls :)

We had an awesome time! And it honestly went by in the blink of an eye.

J drove the whole way and LC and I chilled in the back and played, napped, and chatted :)

It was awesome - and that was just day 1 of our vacation :)

Now, at 72 hours in, I know (and knew before) that I just don't want it to end....
