This weekend LC learned

(please note, LC's grandpa - my Dad- visited this weekend - thus resulting in much of this learned / fearless / ironman-esque behavior:

1- He ate a rock (almost, caught it before he swallowed it, but yes, it rolled around in his mouth

2- Drank from a cup (although he prefers his sippy cup), he will open his mouth with glee and slurp down water from a standard drinking glass - grandpa taught him that one!

3- Likes having water shot in his mouth through a straw - he opens wide and tries to suck it down or just let's it squirt in his mouth

4- Overcame his fear of the sandbox - even made a friend his second time in! He cried at first, then felt the sand, played with the sand, sand may have ended up in his wee nooks and crannies, and made a friend just his age on his 2nd trip in the box!

5- Learned how to get down from the sofa without breaking his skull - grandpa taught him to go down legs first - I've yet to witness this by himself but he learns from watching others or being taught so I'm sure he's caught on

6- Ate eggs, hashbrowns (with ketchup that made him shiver - tangy stuff does that to him), pancakes, and a raw mango all with gusto! Oh he also enjoys ranch dressing, but not mushrooms, yet at least. He likes to lick the ranch dressing off and then spit out whatever it was on - i.e. a mushroom.

7- Oh he ate cat food - that was my doing - he always crawls over to the kitchen and immediately puts his hand in the cat's food dish and water. Well I said 'why don't we just let him eat a piece, see if he really likes it', so we did and he ate a piece and didn't even flinch. Although he is related to my brother, who has been known to try dry dog food and biscuits from time to time :)

8- Is fearless on the swings, letting go and CLAPPING while swinging sky high!

9- Went on his first Easter egg hunt at church on Sunday! He got 5 eggs - (unfortunately I had to eat the candy in them :) but he had a blast! Notice him double fisting the eggs - he didn't want to put them down!

Isn't he handsome in his Easter outfit! Grandpa picked it out! Kohl's our new fave place to shop for him :) Big man in his real button up shirt and button pants!

That smile will get all the ladies, I am sure of it :)
