Pink eye & a double ear infection & crawling

LC has been a VERY busy little 8 month old this past week! He came home on Thursday night with a slightly red and puffy / crusty eye. I worked late so didn't see it til I got home at 8:15 and J said the daycare didn't mention anything of it. Well, being the pediatrician that I am, I took one look at his eye and said 'omg he has pink eye, i just KNOW it!'. He was also super snotty - all of this came on all of the sudden / throughout the day I guess. We put him down to bed shortly after I got home and then J proceeded to WIPE THE COUNTER with the SAME warm washcloth we used to wipe LC's EYE with! Um, I had to say 'YOU ARE SPREADING HIS PINK EYE ALL OVER OUR KITCHEN!' and hand him a Lysol wipe. Needless to say, J was convinced it wasn't pink eye. Oh contrare my loved one. A 9:15am doctor appointment confirmed the truth! Not only did he have pink eye, but he had a DOUBLE ear infection - more severe in the right ear! Poor LC! I KNEW there was a reason he cried out more than normal in the night! THIS is why we aren't fans of letting him cry himself back to sleep (Ferber method I think it's called), because I KNOW that something is wrong if he cries out at night. I can't always figure it out, but I know that the boob and paci and rocking help it. So we do those things.
At any rate, he's on a 10 day twice a day augmentin antibiotic regime. The next morning his eye was like 98% better! I couldn't believe it!
However, yet again, in true LC fashion, he refused to be stopped by the germs! He was in good spirits albeit a little more fussy but still smiling and playing!
And the army crawling is in full effect and FAST! The boy wastes NO time getting from point a to point b and c and d and e, which usually are the broken down boxes, cat food, and cords. We redirect with the best of'em!
He is juuust starting to get his knees under him and true crawling is imminent! Then we're REALLY in trouble lol!
Oh our growing boy! He is amazing! And J and I still look at eachother and say 'wow, he's really here, we really did that, he really is the most awesome baby ever!' Because really ... he IS :) Just ask his grandparents :)

And oh yeah in the midst of all of this last week, his top 2 chompers have decended! And there are two more buds on either side! He knows how to cut some teeth! And he looks even MORE precious with two top teeth when he does his big smiles! (pics to come they are on my phone) :)
