The Quest for The Great Humidifier

Who knew that buying a humidifier could be so time consuming - oh wait - should I not be surprised given the amount of research and price checking that a certain someone whose name begins with J does :) But to be fair, it's not for naught - there are a gazillion humidifiers on the market, some come with filters, some without, some last for 4 hours, some last for 46, some load water from the back, front, side, top. We've been needing one for LC for a while, especially since the poor boy can't manage to stay healthy for more than a week at a time.
So, come last Thursday night - when we were on cold #3, J went out on a mission, with a plan, and I said 'do NOT come back to this apartment without a product!' And, 3 hours, and 6 bottles and pump parts cleaned, a cleaned up house, prepacked lunch, bathed and sleeping LC, and me in bed reading, and then asleep, later, J came home, with a product - yes, a humidifier! He then did more research (until 1am - yes seriously!) before he was somewhat satisfied (settled maybe?) on the purchase, set it up, and then at 2:30 when LC woke up and I went to feed him, there it was in all of it's blue light, cool mist glory, almost silently humming away hopefully taking the gunk of LC's cold with it.
Yes, it took weeks and 3 hours to purchase - but by gosh - we got one :) And I'm 100% pleased. Top loading water tank, runs for 46 hours, (not 4 to 6, 46!) and has filters ($9 replacedments after every 30 uses or something like that - aka a long time i think).
Job well done my friend.

Pic to follow when I can get one - eek I know I'm lacking in pics lately - hopefully the words and stories make up for it and you can create an image in your mind - the joy of reading right :)
