What being a working mom means to me - Part 2

Shew,
Time has yet again gotten away from me. But we're about a month into this whole working mom gig.
It's getting easier - but there is still not enough time - but, is there ever!
So we make the most of it - trying to limit our time at the grocery stores or go as a family or J will go when LC is napping. We swap out playing with LC and doing the cooking / cleaning - really we try to hold off on all cleaning until one of us is giving LC his bath and then go full force once he is in bed. We devote all of our time to our sweet boy the minute J picks him up from daycare til the minute he goes to sleep at night.
He seems to have set his own bedtime - getting tired around 7:45, and in bed after bath by 8:30 or so, but sometimes 9. Ad usually up once, sometimes twice a night for a little snack, and then drifts back off to sleep until morning when I usually have to wake him up to eat and get ready. Although sometimes I'll wake him up, feed him, and then let him snooze a bit longer until I absolutely have to get him up and get him dressed for his big days :)
But our mornings are full of narration of making lunches, coffee, eating breakfast, and getting our work gear in order - pump parts together, bottles set in the lunch satchel, observing the lettuce that we're growing on the balcony, observing the blue, gray skies and the green leaves, brushing LC's ever growing hair, tickles on his belly while I get him dressed, big belly laughs during diaper changes, and usually a bib change or two, sometimes a whole outfit change before my boys head out for the day!
And lots of smiling...like this morning:

And at the end of the day - we do our cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing for the next day - it's hard work - but SO worth it...SO worth it!
