I've been persistent yet again (some people may call it annoying, but whatever), since it still didn't feel right yesterday and the nurse called back (apparently there is not a doctor on call on Sunday days?), she said to keep doing what I was doing. Sigh...not good enough for me since I still know 'hey, something ain't right, it shouldn't hurt like this and medicine should have been working by now esp since it is one dose'. So I called again today, and the cream they were going to originally call in, has been called in, to a special compound pharmacy down the street (ironic)from our apartment. Hopefully that'll help, and they put in a note to the dr (the one who did my csection actually - I may have to see her at an upcoming appointment to thank her personally!), to see if I may need another dose of the pill that I took on Friday.
Thank goodness for proactive nurses! I bow down to those in the medical field that's for sure!
Hopefully this cream will work and put a full stop to this - until then Tylenol and lanolin!
In other news, LC has been eating like a champ, really keeping me up on my game. Not giving mastisis a chance to even THINK of starting! He clears out on side and then goes in for the other - each feeding! Usually craps out about halfway through the second side, but he is relentless, spits up & burps after the first side, then goes in for more lol.
He sure does love his Mommy and want to help her get better, and keep her feeding him! Bless the little dude! He's the best best best!
And yeah, one month in, J and I still get teary eyed looking at LC, and are still in awe that he is really here with us!
