You could tell they really enjoyed working on decorations and food and everything.
They had all the little details of our forest friends theme (beanie babies draped over wood logs)...

And my FAVORITE foods! Pimento cheese sandwiches, cucumber sandwiches, mini pumpkin muffins, chips n' a salsa/cheese dip, pasta salad!

More of the great spread: fruit and dip, chicken salad in phylo dough cups (I DIE, I LOVE CHICKEN SALAD - it has been my sandwich of choice for months now!)

And a delicious sprite punch - complete with some take home rubber duckies for bathtime for LC :)

We even played games - the first one being the ladies making J put a balloon under his shirt and then tie his shoe- HAHAH!

And the games continued when we had to cloth diaper (flat and cover) a baby doll..with one hand tied behind our backs!

But look - we did it! And it is somewhere on video since a coworker taped it lol! I'd love to see it :)
And the gifts...omgah, the gifts! WOW

LOOK AT ALL THAT! They just kept coming!

A picture frame with a spot for one picture a month with the 1 year picture being in the middle - dude, we hadn't even thought of that - and with all the documenting going on, um hello, we NEED this! It'll be so great!

Our fox basket that will be PERFECT on the changing table! To hold all of his wee accessories! And the little elephant blanket and a lion onsie (hi PM girls!).

Um this may have been J's favorite gift. My coworker sent me a link to Robeez shoes months ago, and I sent it to him, and he immediately wrote back with a link to these (reverseble) shoes, one side has an 'early bird' and the other side has a 'night owl'. They..are..adorable!

And this...this may be MY favorite gift - a Thirsties ORANGE cloth diaper cover. I swear, anyone who sends us cloth diapering supplies I am forever grateful for - not only are they supporting what we are doing, but it shows great heart to step outside the box and help us with something like this. So appreciative!

Our cute cake - mm vanilla! It was delish!
It was SUCH a great time! We are so so appreciative of all of the time and effort that everyone put into this shower for us! We had a blast and our Little Cub is so so loved! Gosh...miracles and blessings abound!
