The time we REGISTERED!

Yep! We did it! We registered! At the local (45 minutes away) Babies R Us! Granted it took us a good 5 hours and we had to eat a big lunch before heading in, but WE DID IT! It is not complete yet because there were some things that we need to add that were not available in store, that we can add online, and also register online with another site to put our cloth diaper stuffs on there in addition to some things that Babies R Us doesn't carry at all. But we knew this going in.

sidenote: why can't there be one store / website combo with EVERYTHING one could possibly need to care for a baby huh lol :)

We went with the crib we had been oogling over for the past week (it was between two and we went with our second choice due to reviews, and a closer in-person inspection and it is FABULOUS) - and it is 'in stock' so once we order it (and the accompanying dresser and dresser/changing table combo) it can be in store within a week or two - and we just go pick it up -- in a borrowed family van or two :) Yippee! Do you KNOW how much this excites me! Um, A LOT! So much so that I had J take my picture with the beautiful set (we'll get it in harvest oak color).



And here it is by itself 'on the floor display' - beautiful huh! It will look A)Outstanding in his room and B)Fabulous with his nursery decor of forest friends with an emphasis on owls !!! I can hardly contain myself!



The little block of wood on top of the tall dresser is 'harvest oak' color - a lighter stain of wood so the whole room (in our heads) will have a light feel to it - especially combined with the cream, light green, and light blue hues that are in the decor and bedding!

Oh BOY oh BOY! We're on our way :)
