Yesterday in our quest to register, we were floundering around the wipes aisle - we plan to cloth diaper as much as possible (daycare options may foil it from being 100% of the time but we'll take what we can get), and we want to use regular ole wipes. Well apparently 'regular ole wipes' come in a) a TON Of varieties and b)a ton of brands!
When I was at Target on Friday, I noticed that Huggies made a Natural Care wipe - hypoallergenic, no fragrance, soft, etc .. sounded good. Until I saw the Huggies 'newborn sensitive' wipes and thought OMG does he need special newborn wipes!?
J quickly called in for backup in the form of his sister who has a beautiful 3 month old baby girl asking if we need to be concerned with this difference. She assured us that 'nope, whatever works' - so I scanned two 576 count boxes of Huggies Natural Care wipes refills, 2 travel cases of wipes and 1 regular tub of wipes (all in Natural Care btw). So hopefully we'll be set for um...two weeks lol!? I have no idea how many wipes a baby goes through per change, I imagine 1 to 6 or so but I am not about to try to reason with the bowels of our son, in relation to wipe count :)
But either way, we'll be set for a bit- and then maybe a membership to Sam's Club or Costco will be in order for industrial wipe cases ha!
