Since we have cable, and more time to watch (er...DVR and watch at our own pace), we've become hooked on reality tv shows. Come on, who doesn't love'em! On our list:
The Next Food Network Star
Work of Art
HGTV Design Star
Top Chef
That doesn't seem like a lot but it is 4 hours of tv, well 45 mins per episode when you watch the DVRed version. We have a lot of fun learning new things, discussing what we do and don't like about the contestants, challenges, judging etc. Not only do we like learning from the shows, but we like trying to find our own style in the shows (learning about what we like and don't like in artwork, design, and cooking). I think it's fun and helps us to grow even more together and plus it's exciting to be able to make decisions like this when they can affect our life in 'real life' like when we pick pillows for our couch or ingredients for meals.
Just a lil somethin' to keep us busy and learning about eachother. I think it is very important to always be learning weather it be about your significant other, your friends, and your family. Keep your mind active ya know. And hey if it's reality tv that sparks it, more power to ya!
Do you watch reality tv shows? What are you addicted to? Are you learning from the shows too?
Oh and yeah I'll admit it, I watched the entire season of "Jerseylicious" and I can't wait until the next season airs! That, I did not learn from, but I laughed my butt off at every episode! :)

America's Next Top Model
I don't watch them all regularly, but catch them on the weekends if I'm home. I will just turn on the food network, HGTV or TLC on the weekends and leave it on when I'm running around the house cleaning or doing laundry.
I forgot, I LOVE Biggest Loser and was addicted to it (I just started watching it this past season) :) J likes Iron Chef and Chopped too, I tune in and out when he watches those shows.
