For the moment at least, is anything by Jen Lancaster! If you've not read any books by her, go to your local library or used / new bookstore and pick up any of her books, seriously, any of her books, they aren't in any particular order, and they are ALL hy-sterical!!! I just got her newest book My Fair Lazy: One Reality Television Addict's Attempt to Discover If Not Being A Dumb Ass Is the New Black, or, a Culture-Up Manifesto at the library and have been reading it at lunch and in the evenings cracking up the whole time!!! Why do I like her you ask? She has an honest, raw, sense of humor - the kind of person who says what you' may be too afraid or embarrassed to say out loud. Not only does she have her own fiascos, she brings in her pets and her husband into the mix which totally add to the amusement of any situation.
She has all of these sidenotes and footnotes which at first I thought would drive me crazy but have ended up being my favorite parts of her books because they make the story that much more funny. Trust me, you need a good read, totally go check out one of her books!
