I can't believe it is 'fall back' already! I fell asleep on the couch last night, woke up, shuffled to bed, set the clock back (10:30pm) and promptly woke up to the light streaming in the window at 6am today! I love daylight savings time! Hoping it rubs off on J and he will have an easier time waking up in the morning. We shall see tomorrow!
At any rate, we had a great breakfast of eggs (fried for me, scrambled for him with cheese and chives), and biscuits! J plugged in his iPod into the travel speakers and we got the tunes flowing. He had it on his 'classical' mix which consists of a few Bach pieces, some 'Nutcracker' pieces and THE ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK of 'My Fair Lady' (which he later told me he got from my cd collection at some point). While we're enjoying our breakfast, an unmistakable Rex Harrison booms out of the speakers crooning 'I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face' ... and J KNOWS the lyrics! OMG! I almost fell out of my chair! This is the man who doesn't like musicals, or any sort of live show, and this is before, during, and after living in NYC for 10 years! I totally don't get it. He says 'My Fair Lady' is a great movie with Audrey Hepburn and that's how he likes it. I said it was meant to be performed on stage, LIVE. He says unless they get Audrey back to perform it, he will continue to watch the movie and listen to the soundtrack (which again, he GOT FROM ME). Weird bird that one :) But I love him.
