Spaghetti Friday!

Woohoo! This week's 'cook together meal' : Spaghetti (we loooove Itallian food)

Well, the noodles were store bought, but we made the sauce from scratch!

Whole peeled tomatoes, garlic, onion, ground turkey, and other odds and ends of spices.

I was in charge of browning the meat and cooking the noodles

while J tended to the sauce.

Then we topped the noodles with the sauce at the end...sometimes we combine the sauce with the noodles and other times we top the noodles with the sauce.

Lovely right! It sure was tasty, and we made it in record time! I love cooking together, we had some jazz music playing in the background, and we were working together in the kitchen, relaxing after a day of work! That's my kinda Friday night - oh followed by some Ben&Jerry's ice cream and a little Cooking Channel on tv :) Now THAT is my kind of evening!

PS- Isn't that some beautiful china! It is called Coco Blossom, from Macy's and we adore it! It acts as everyday china, so we can use it whenever we want. Like for spaghetti Friday! And we really love getting all of the pieces out when we have family over for dinner!
