Today (or thereabouts), is Lambert Dewey's 2nd birthday! My little orange kitty extraordinaire is growing up! I'm so proud of how far he has come since November 15, 2008 when we first brought him home and he sat in his carrier breathing heavily for several hours before cautiously scurrying out and hiding from us. Now he is so loveable and purrs all.the.time.! He even loves to have his belly rubbed and he likes to lounge in bed with me in the morning, getting those last few winks of sleep in before starting his (also full of napping / lounging and eating) day :)
This morning he was treated to TWO big handfuls of his kitty treats BEFORE breakfast! Oh he was in heaven. Then I fed him (and Rocky) their breakfast, they both ate and then Lambert looked at me expectantly waiting for even more treats or food!

As you can see, being 2 really takes its toll - this was taken at about 8am this morning, he's already back in bed taking his morning nap :)
