Oh yeah...

So my friend Tiff kindly commented after my last post "what kind of car did you get!" Whoops, kinda forgot an important part right! We ended up with a 2005 Mitsubishi Galant (gray, 4 door). It was not what we set out for but like I said before, it drove the best and we were both really happy with it. It had just been traded in on Saturday night so we had to leave it at the dealership for a check-up and detailing and then J picked it up yesterday after work. And boy does it look GOOD! WOW! She cleans up well :) We took a spin last night and went to dinner and the grocery store and every time I got out of the car I would look back and grin. I'm so proud of our decision and I think that the car is just right for us. This is the first big thing that we've done together and it feels like a really great accomplishment. I felt so content last night when I got home from work knowing that J was on his way home with our new car :)It's like 'wow, this is what life is SUPPOSED to be like', not 2 hour train rides combined with a subway and a bad day at work. Speaking of work, J had his first day yesterday ad despite the 40 minute commute, he seemed to enjoy it and to catch on quickly which is great! We were jibber jabbering all through dinner about our days at work. We divvied up some of our departmental responsibilities at a meeting yesterday so I have plenty more to work on which is great. I ended the day yesterday fighting with a formatted word doc, but I'm going to try again today. Trying to make a bibliography - the hard part, the actual bibliography is done, now I'm just trying to get it formatted properly. Ah the little things right. Also have a few more projects that I've been assigned so looking forward to getting started with them!
I'm off this Thursday and Friday and aside from getting to the mall to pick up a few more work clothes (yay Christmas gift cards) I don't know what I'll do with my time! I need to get back into my exercise regime so hopefully we can get the tv/computer set up by tomorrow evening. I think it will happen :)
