We're Here!!!

After 2 days in the car, totaling about 19 hours and approximately 1,000 miles on the ole gold guy, we're here!
The two kitties made it safe and sound as well - they are getting used to our apartment but Rocky cried almost all night last night. Lambert was good and purred like crazy this morning and dropped down for belly rubs in every room and followed me all around! Good to know he's used to it, hopefully he can help Rocky!
Today we ran some errands - upped the cell plan to get more minutes (thankfully, we were dangerously close to going over!). We also set up the washer/dryer rental. Apparently this place is as secure as the FBI - I had to provide two references in order to rent a washer/dryer! Never heard of that! At any rate, they'll be over on Monday to get us all hooked up! Looking forward to that!
After running errands we went over to hubby's parents house to watch the big game and do some laundry! Very relaxing!!
Looking forward to when our furniture comes along early next week!
More to come later. Need to get the cable/internet set up at the apt so I can do this on a regular basis - I have a feeling it'll be addicting!
