Our vacation - Part I

We had such a great time with my family over Presidents Day weekend! 3 days went by so fast but were so filled with love and hugs and family and friends that we soaked it all up - especially L.C. who showed everyone his acrobatic skills and appreciation for stories!

We got up at 3am on Friday, got ourselves packed up (mainly loaded the car since we managed to get the other main packing done the night before - shocker) :) And were at the airport by about 5:15. We got through security okay and in record time, had a minute to purchase a couple of waters for the flight, hop on and off we went in the high skies!



LC was very good - he did some sleeping, some stretching and some wiggling about in the womb :)

We got in smoothly (shew!), picked up our rental car, swung by the Wawa (our fave!) and then headed on our way to town.

Got in right around lunchtime and met my Mom and Dad at a local restaurant where my Dad kept a combo of "You're really pregnant" and "I thought you'd be bigger" and trying to get me to eat more fries lol.

My Mom got to feel LC kick for the first time (that's our boy) right away when she sat down! My Dad wasn't so lucky and everytime he put his hand on my belly to feel, LC would clam up haha. Don't worry little buddy, your Grandad will feel you wiggle in March and get to hold you in May and you will fall so in love that you will never clam up :)

We did some more visiting that afternoon and ended the night with a great dinner with my Mom and my stepdad P!
